Conference Weekend

We had a great weekend as a family the same weekend as general conference for the LDS church.  Greg and I were happy that general conference was the Saturday/Sunday right before Piper was born so that we could spend lots of time with Auburn and Ruby before everything changed for them.  We started out Saturday with a hike.

Rock Heart!  It was nice of someone to leave it there for our viewing pleasure.  Both Auburn and Ruby got knee scrapes on the hike.  Ruby did a great job walking on her own most of the way.  (Sunglasses brought to you by Delrhea!)

On Sunday we watched conference in the morning and then took a picnic to the park next to the Gilbert Temple site.  When we were pulling into the parking lot we saw the Cardon's walking around the temple!  We thought it was awesome that we would see our friends in the same spot we chose to go between sessions.  

We tried to get the temple in our picture, but I think the lady that took it thought we only wanted the angel Moroni.  It was pretty hot outside but we took a little walk and saw the ponds and ducks.  It was a really nice picnic, and a really nice conference weekend.
