First....Nursery

We made it!  Ruby is OFFICIALLY in nursery at church!  I say officially because some really super nice people have been taking her to nursery for a couple of month's now so that Greg and I could both teach at church.  Several times Greg and I have been double teaming sharing time - I would teach the lesson and Greg would help with music.

I tried to get a non-blurry picture of Ruby but it just doesn't happen....ever.  Here are the action shots:

She of course loves it.  She came home and showed off many of her new skills acquired, like throwing cars, hitting, pushing and standing on furniture.  True these are all negative things I realize, but it has reassured me that the many boys in her nursery class are not getting the better of her.  I watched her a little bit through the window at church and saw that she is very good at sharing though and that makes up for anything negative that she has learned.  :)

Blankie Love

My good friend, Melissa, made these blankets for my girls.  Ruby really loves her - she sleeps with it every night, and she has started to tear it apart with her teeth, and it pretty much always smells like baby spit.  Yuck. Since Ruby has been so attached with her blanket, Auburn has started to take an interest in her own.  (Read: Whenever Ruby touches her blanket it become the most prized possession in the world.)  I love it when they play with each other.  They are the best girls in the world!

Best Friends Already

Auburn is so good to Ruby. It really is fun to watch Auburn love and kiss and hug Ruby. She has even start sharing her toys with her. It's kind of awkward because her crib is always hazardous with bouncy balls, blankets, flashlights, etc. but fun to watch and I really don't mind as long as they get along.
