a little Christmas

Auburn and Ruby in their sunglasses

I got a yoga mat, spice jars, a cook book and wooden spoons, a new griddle, some chocolates and wipes for my electronics.

Greg got a new shirt, grill master scrub brush, pizza cutter, turkey baster, some movies, new razors, new white shirts, and kitchen shears.

Ruby got a little push car that plays music, a potato head, finger puppets, a instrument set, a new outfit, some bath toys and a memory book from when she was born.

Auburn got a princess castle, a new outfit that matched Ruby's, a couple of puzzles, a big princess coloring book, a lalaloopsy doll, new sheets and some great puppets.

Auburn Meets Santa

Well, Santa Claus came to Uncle John & Aunt Susy's house Saturday night and Auburn got to meet him! At first she found him really interesting with his beard.

And everything was fine. Until she realized the beard was real......but it only lasted for 2 minutes. This is here opening her present, which she has been drooling over for weeks, as evidenced by the state of the wrapping paper.

Maybe next year she and Santa will buddy up - lucky for her he will still give her all her gifts!

Self-Explainatory

And then......

Grandma, thank you for the present.....

Grandma Embley, Auburn has discovered her gifts from you and is slowly wearing me down to open them right now. As you can see, she's already taken a peek inside, and was very surprised when I caught her. :)

Decoupage What????

I am addicted to decoupage. Not only the smell - but it looks good on every single thing I put it on! I have used it on a dozen Christmas decorations and plan on using it ALL SEASON LONG! I made this little sign with some scrapbook paper I found - super cute and super easy! I also made a candle holder, tree decorations, and gift tags with paper similar to this. Whoever invented decoupage is genius.
