Last Friday Jess and I hosted a "Back to School" dance party. 47 people came. It was a lot of fun!
I spent a lot of my free time the week prior rigging up the disco ball and readying the music. I bought a boom box from DI. I brought it home and the cd player didn't work. No biggie, I'll just plug an ipod directly into the aux inputs, right? Well, those didn't work either. So I finally went back to a thrift store to buy another boom box and found a cheap tape adapter which, fortunately, worked in the first boom box.
Since the cd player was broken, I extracted the motor from the disc changer and used it to spin the disco ball.

Ok so as I read this I though wow Jess you are so handy...then it crossed my mind that Greg probably posted this. But if not I am super impressed Jessica haha!
I am SO impressed by this!! Amazing! I've heard of this disco ball, Greg. Glad you guys are putting it to good use...
