Camping: Canyon Creek Campground with the Thatchers

This last weekend we went camping at Upper Canyon Creek Campground.  Before the trip, we bought an awesome tent.  We went with the Thatchers and had shared in awesome company, activites, and food.  Here are the highlights.

We went to the nearby fish hatchery.  It was a lot of fun.

There were a few bald eagles circling above the hatchery.  As we were leaving, one of the eagles swooped down and snatched a fish out of one of the uncovered hatchery runs.  This is the best shot I could take with the zoom on my camera:

This is where the canyon creek crosses the road. We had fun throwing marshmallows in the water and chasing them.
