Fourth

The morning of the fourth we went to my grandparents and they made waffles - and boy did they make waffles!  The bowl of batter was about the size of Piper.  Every single waffle was eaten, and they were delicious!

That afternoon we went to a park in Ceder Hills and played with the Embley side of the family.  We met a little girl at the park that also had the name of Ruby.  She was about a year younger than our Ruby Florence, and also had blonde hair.  We rescued two guinea pigs from a premature death, ate some yummy apples, and played a water/sponge game.  The girls loved showing off their festive glasses, and looked really cute in their red, white and blue.

Later (after much needed naps) we went back to Great-Grandma and Grandpa Embley's and had a BBQ.  Then we headed to fireworks as a family.  It was a fantastic spot next to Grove Crest Elementary school and we saw a fantastic firework show.  The girls had fun sitting on a picnic blanket with new found cousin friends, and wearing five billion glow in the dark necklaces.  It was a wonderful day!
