Oh Camping

Another camping success!  This time with Aunt Brynn in tow (which was awesome).  

Bright-eyed and bushy-tailed!

 ....And not.....

haha!  Aunt Brynn slept through TWO kids not just one!  She is amazing.  I envy her sound sleeping. 

This time we camped at a place called timber creek.  It was a small campsite, and there was a fathers/sons camp out next door to us.  Greg found a really pretty hike that wasn't too hard to do with the kids.  For dinner we had hot dogs, baked beans, capri-suns and carrots.  For breakfast we ate eggs scrambled with green onions, tomato, and some turkey sausage.  It was delicious!  

We forgot the air mattress pump and so we took turns blowing up the mattress by mouth.  By morning it was totally deflated!  Our tent attracted flys like crazy.  When we first set it up there were about a hundred hanging out on the roof.  Brynn and Auburn worked hard to rid our tent of flies before dinner.  And the outhouse was one of the cleanest I have ever seen.

Auburn asked to go to bed before Ruby was asleep, and when we (Greg, Brynn and I) went to bed about an hour later Auburn was still awake!  She loved it though because Dad slept right next to her; Brynn and I shared the air mattress and Greg slept next to Auburn.  She woke him up nice and early!
