Casa Gande

We took a little road trip and went to Casa Grande which is the coolest piece of dirt mound you'll ever see. The middle structure of the settlement compound was a 4 story high building. They had all of these buildings, and just a few years after they built it they left. Totally abandoned the place, which was center to all kinds of trading (cotton, turquoise, sea shells). They say they don't know why, but I do, recession. Now that I have it all figured out I'm going to write a book on it so don't steal my idea!



Auburn was such a good sport. It was VERY windy. It reminded me of good old Rexburg. We started to pose for a picture some lady offered to take of us and Auburn's stroller started rolling away! No joke.


It's pretty sweet what people can build with there hands.
