For the Great-Grandparents

My Grandparents are serving an LDS mission in Australia. My hubby shared a Photo Essay with me, the topic being "we are so small". Three of the Eighteen pictures are in Australia. Therefore, I would like to share these pictures with all of you:

Yes, this is a big rock with little people sized people on it. Here's the photographers notes:

1. Uluru, Australia
The massive rock — a.k.a. Ayers Rock — is climbed by 250 every day, despite pleas from local indigenous groups to refrain from doing so.

Itchwawa, that is a huge shark. Photographers notes:

2. Diving with whale sharks
The whale shark is the world’s largest fish species and can grow to be longer than 40 feet. This shot was taken off Christmas Island, Australia, in January 2005.

Photographers notes:

6. Great Ocean Road, Australia
The coast along one of the world’s most spectacular roads is also good for a walk.

Grandma Warner's House

We visited Grandma Warner in August and here are some of the fun things we got to do:

We went to the Art museum where they had a golf art display. It was even fun for Auburn! She and Cooper had small golf clubs.

Auburn loved Grandma's baby doll stroller. She would try to take it up the stairs, and strolled it all around down stairs.

This is Auburn's first Popsicle, and she loved it! She even liked the grass that would come attached. Auburn also loved a little bike that Grandma Warner had in back, she and Cooper would take turns sitting on it, and wanting to sit on it!

Here we are eating on the porch. Thanks Warner family!

Favorite Painting

I found this painting when I read an article about religious art. I find that it is hard for me to find unique, but reverent, artwork. In my search through some recommended sites I found this painting.

I find this painting very moving. It's possible that I will someday be able to afford it. Especially if I wait 20 years. Hopefully by that point I will also be able to afford framing it. :)

Enjoy!
